Chairman's Retirement Announcement

Lanka Spice Limited (LSL), proud owners of the Mc Currie brand of spices and spice products, wishes to announce the retirement of its Chairman Mr Nalin Pathikirikorale. Retirement celebrations were held at this year's Mc Currie Day event held on the Chairman's birthday, 20th December 2022.

LSL was formed in 1984 by the Pathikirikorale family as a spice and value-added spice products manufacturing company that markets Sri Lankan favourites such as Seeni Sambol, Katta Sambol, mango chutney and many more recipes under the Mc Currie brand. Soon becoming a recognised name both island-wide and in international markets.

Management of the company has now been passed to Managing Director Mikhail Pathikirikorale who will take the company forward. We wish the Chairman all the best and thank him for his contribution to the Company.

We , Lanka Spice (Pvt) Limited (LSL) wish to bring to your kind notice that the above named employee served as Marketing Manager for LSL is not in employment with LSL or any of its associate companies, with effect from 20th February, 2021. He is no longer authorized to represent LSL or its associate companies mentioned above in any matters whatsoever.

Any person dealing with Mr. Lloyd Yogaraj shall do so at his/her own risk and responsibility and LSL will not be responsible for any dealings or contract agreements undertakings entered with him consequent to his resignation from LSL with effect from 20th February, 2021.

Also with regard to printed materials are strictly instructed not to use “Mc Currie” logo, name and address or any other details of LSL in any printed material without a company official purchase order. Using such details in printed materials without a company official purchase order will lead to legal action against the user and the printer or supplier.
